I've been meaning to post these for ages. These boys are so great - we really love having them. Here are my favorites from the last couple of months!

Buddy being a
baaaaad dog...he is not only NOT
allowed to sit on the back cushion of the couch, he is also NOT allowed to be on the couch without people there with him. But he was so cute, I had to take a picture...he's pretty much completely
irresistible.
Doesn't spoiled Emery James look comfortable?
Yeah, Buddy thought so, too. And he certainly didn't approve of being left out in the cold...
...so he made his way up there, too. And he made sure to get closer to Matt than Emery. Because Buddy is the boss.
It's so nice to be able to do accounting homework with such fine company.
Or work work (like the kind I get paid for). And yes, sometimes I do work work while laying on the dog room floor. I'm a pretty respectable professional. Obviously.
This is a so-so picture of the sad sad costumes that I tried to make for the dogs for Halloween...
hahaha! Emery is a cowboy and Buddy is an
indian! And looking at this picture, you can barely tell....all the "detail" was on their backs...BUT I didn't have the heart to make them get dressed up again after I realized that the picture wasn't very good. You can tell how much fun they're having.
No comfortable seat is complete without a dog being ever-so-inconveniently tucked in between you and what you're trying to do. But how do you say no to a cute little guy like this? Trick question - you NEVER say no to cute guys like this.
This is a pretty clear demonstration of the boys' efforts to help me on a day I was home with a 101+ degree fever...and still trying to get work done. They're
soooo helpful.
I don't know how he does it, but Buddy always manages to squeeze between Emery and whatever it is that Emery enjoys being snuggled up against at any given moment. Comfort be damned!

Buddy also likes being behind people. Again, comfort be damned!

froggy legs.

They LOVE eating vegetables straight from the garden...here, they're munching on turnip greens. Such funny little guys!
This is probably the thing that makes Buddy happiest in the world - having HIS Matt

ZOMBIE DOG!! About a third of all of Emery's sleeping hours involve him looking like a zombie. But he's a cute little zombie, no?

I was so excited to get on and see so many new posts. Still pouring over them, but had to comment. Love LOVE the doggie costumes!! You didn't have to even explain they were a cowboy and indian. Totally got it! Too cute. Parker saw me looking at the photos and had to make a comment. "What are they doing for Halloween? Dogs don't eat candy." I say, "you're right, dogs don't eat candy" and he replies "maybe there's dog food in there." Love it. And seriously, your dogs might as well be humans. :) The picture of Matt and Buddy really and truly looks like he's holding a baby! So cute. Love domestic animals. One of God's best inventions (in my opinion). So happy you have them! (sorry for the crazy long comment)
Oh my goodness...I loved this post. All of your comments were hilarious! I especially loved Buddy's face in the 4th picture. That is just a classic Buddy shot. All of the crazy photos of Emery were great too. They made me laugh out loud. Loved their Halloween costumes. We used to be crazy dog owners and bought them numerous dog costumes. I am so bummed we got rid of them...we could have passed them along. One year they were devils. The costumes were adorable! Anyway, you did a great job with their costumes. It looks like they were having a fabulous time! ;) Give them both a big hug from me. I miss those guys.
